For the most heat rejection, IRX is $500 for a sedan and $530 for an SUV, and has up to 88% selective infrared rejection. ATC dyed film is $300 if you mainly want privacy and a clean look. Trucks and vans add $50. Full-windshield film isn't legal in Ontario, clear films included, so we don't recommend it.

What tint is legal in Ontario?

Front side windows have to pass 70% light, glass and film measured together. Rear side windows, the back glass and roof glass have no limit. A windshield strip can come down 75 mm at most, and any full-windshield film fails inspection. We install to these limits by default.
How long does it take, and when can I roll the windows down?

Most sedans take 2 to 3 hours and SUVs or trucks 3 to 4. Keep the windows up for 3 to 5 days while the film cures. Small water pockets or haze in the first few days are normal and clear on their own.
What does the LLumar Lifetime Limited Warranty cover?

Cracking, peeling, demetallizing and unusual colour change. It does not cover fading. It's for the original purchaser only and doesn't transfer if you sell the car. If a problem comes from our install, it comes back to us.
Can you tint windows in winter?

Yes. We install indoors, so cold and salt on Kingston Road don't affect the install. Cure time runs a little longer in the cold, so haze can take a few extra days to clear.
How far is your studio from West Hill?

About 10 to 15 minutes north-west via Morningside Avenue or Markham Road, longer at rush hour. Most West Hill clients drop the car off in the morning and pick it up the same afternoon.
